Voted earlier. returning for comments.

Ah, this is a beautiful and very well posed image. Even the lighting looks good, but you failed to take advantage of the size and in doing so you undermined this wonderful effort.

You image is strong - a good rendition of hope. It is just too small to really vote accurately. You need to use more of the allowed 640 pixel /side and 150k file size.

Great idea, but a technically flawed image because: looks like he's leaning to the right; too small (use your full 640 pix and 150K), too centered composition; blurry. Your photograph, with the above technical issues corrected, would've scored respectably well (top 3rd?).

why so small? I can't really make it out

Very small image, it looks like it would be good otherwise. Check how to save 4 web in the forums.

I think you have a good photograph here but it to small to judge. I had the same problem on my first entry.

You will here this time and time again: Picture size is too small, you wont get good points because we can not see the picture...

why so small, and it looks like a very nice shot but I can't really see it

Like the idea, but the image is WAY too small. I think the lighting is a little harsh as well, but it is hard to tell with the size of the image. When you resize to fit the constraints of the challenge, the physical size of the image should be as close to the 640 as possible. When you go to save the resized image there should be an options button (at least there is in the 4 different programs I have for photo editing on my computer). In options, adjust the compression factor a little at a time to bring the size of the file to 150 or less. Hope that helps and I look forward to seeing what you produce in the future!

If your camera will allow it, making the image bigger will help. I would like to see more of the picture and the details in it.

You'll probably be told this many times, but ... you should take full advantage of the 640 pixels ... small pictures tend to get rated lower.

This is too small, make sure to resize it to 640...
