A last minute capture. I like it but I think it'll only score average if I'm lucky.

Thanks for the comments. There's a lot of ways I could have cropped this. I decided on this version (which is only a minor crop) since I liked the bokeh at the bottom and felt it added to the image. Plus that bokeh cost me a small fortune and I still haven't been forgiven by my other half! The picture is of my dog Bodey and my partner Jane.

love the shallowness of this. Very nice!

Nicely composed. Like the attentive body language on the dog ... well, really both of them seem like they're in their own private world of 2.

A little too much blurred foreground and empty sky, but otherwise a lovely shot. Maybe try a square crop?

I like the overall composition of this, although I might have chosen to remove much of the bottom of the image.

Sweet photo. I was initially going to say I wish the dog and woman filled more of the frame, but I also like the couple in the background, I feel it adds to the feeling to the photo.

Great use of aperture to select the subjects, no fancy processing, very well done.

This is very nice. Great DOF, a sweet moment, the dog certainly looks adoring of his mistress! Could be a bit sharper on the pair but overall, lovely.

This is awesome! My only issue is those people in the background - you should have had the dog chase them off. ;-) Still a solid 9!
