The colors are not very helpful but the expression, details and focus are spot on. 8 from me.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: I like quirky portraits and this certainly hits that button. The slight coloration is absolutely perfect. The intensity of the eyes and the wild hair stops you in your tracks. Some may complain about the stray hair over the eye - I really like that, it communicates spontaneity.

Critical stuff: I think main part of the hair looks over sharpened/defined - a low opacity blur brush may have helped to dispel some of its 'crunchiness'.

Overall: Unusual and compelling portrait.

Wonderful expression in the eyes. The stray hair over his left eye is the only thing bothering me slightly.

Good capture of his expression. Like the color tones too. He does have a piercing stare.

Wonderful shot! Love the intense glare. Only criticism it that the stray hair in front of the right eye is a bit distracting, it would've been better cloned out. Otherwise, love it

Wonderful pix.
But I think the title diminishes its impact.

Amusing, good focus, I like the muted tones. I would have taken out that hair in front of his eye though as it really grabs my attention.

"I TOLD you. DON'T take My picture!" as he stared daggers in my direction. I risked his ire, focused on his sharp stare, and took the picture anyway.

Wow, look at that angry gaze! Your processing is great for it brings out the details in the hair, skin tones, and most especially in the eyes.

I'm loving his hair. The slight saturation is a bit odd. Maybe pure BW would really work. :)

Strong image, I like the processing, but the hair accross the eye is distracting. I keep looking at the hair, not the eyes.

Skin is pale and makes him look -- pale. Is that a criticism? It started out as one. But I can't really imagine this any other way.

Yes.
