Talk about perfect timing! The ultra fast shutter speed lends a really interesting quality to this - forever suspended in time. The mono conversion is a bold move for nature photography, but works well, and sets the image apart.

I totally LOVE the capture! WOW!

But... I think the processing is leaving the subject too lost in the uproar of the the image.

I think it needs to be the brightest place on the image... to draw the eye...

How adorable! He is almost lost amidst the patterns the water is making but not quite, he's still sharp enough to stand out; if the water was a bold enough blue, I might have submitted this in colour to help the penguin pop more. A very good capture overall.
