 Taken on our vacation in Aug in Banff National Park. Canadian Rockies are awesome. Can't remember the name of the lake, I can only remember that I was in awe of the view and picture. Don't really care what it scores since it was taken during one of the best vacations I have ever had.

Wonderful reflection in the lake. Great perspective on the scene - feels like you could sit here for hours and watch the shadows move, clouds float by, and enjoy the sunshine. A good deal of the picture is in the shadow of the mountain, which makes the bottom right 1/4 a tad dark, but that also keeps your eye from being drawn away from the layered rock and white snow.

whoo hooo! Peyton lake -- such a beautiful spot! When I was there 20 some years ago, it was a lot greener. :)
