Your layer work is masterful. Now I am looking forward to seeing how you will top this.

Oooh pretty. I love how the texture has turned this into a nostalgic piece.

This is so beautiful! While I quite like the original, this one makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. I feel like this should be hanging in a bed and breakfast, preferably on the East Coast.

I keep flipping back and forth from this one and the original and I'm not sure which I like best. this is certainly a "brighter" and more colorful image, but there is a real sultriness to the original that I quite like.

BTW . . . whatever you do, don't listen to Robert! the green flare makes the image, at least in this version.

This image has me feeling like I'm walking down memory lane, reminiscing about the good times... being warmed by the sun on a casual Sunday afternoon.

You did such a great job bringing out the light in the foreground while still keeping detail in the sky. And the color tones and textured overlays are crazy cool! I'll bet you could clone out that lens flare somehow. It just doesn't seem to fit the shot.

i love the tones in the processed image, but as Robert says, cloning out the green blob would really help 'finish' this image.

the texture you used works well with the subject, and I love the lighting. Agree with Bear about the green blob though. It's too distracting.

The original's pretty nice too :-) Be a real good idea to get rid of that green blob. It's a lovely image.
