Seams shallow to me. Meets the challenge, but not very interesting, and the red in the background seems blown out.

Title pun is nice. I would like to have at least part of the seam in sharp focus so I can feel the texture of the fabric. The red is very hot.

Your image is oversaturated for my tastes, it's hard for me to see the shallow DoF through all that overpowering red!

blown out highlights, and n interest nothing to pull my eye in and wow me needed less light more detail and sharpness 2

The red is a bit over saturation in this, and blowing out some of the detail.
