| The frayed insulation on the phone wire reminds me of barbed wire. The colors are so peaceful, the comp so easy on the eye. Holy cow that's an old phone! |

The blue is on the wall. It's an area where I had been testing paint swatches for a new room color. I had been trying various blues, greens, aquas and would prime in between each layer. I'm going to miss that patch of wall when I do finally paint the room...a color called Antique Leather. I also used a layer in post that had slight aqua hue, which enhanced what was already on the wall. |

| I just love the simplicity of this. It has a shabby-chic feel to it. The diffuse light makes the shot as well as the texture of the wall. |

| Oh yay! I am glad you are in this challenge. I love seeing your work. What I like is that you always capture this vintage/nostalgic feel. I don't know how you do it but I love it. The color here is fabulous and that little star hanging off to the side is a good piece of magic. |
