From this distance it's hard to see but this bird has a beetle in it's mouth. I missed the shot of it catching it and you really need to zoom in to see it but the title will remind me of the shot. Even if it dosn't make a lot of sense.

Thanks for the suggestion Diamonds. I had already cropped this image a bit to a level that I felt had a reasonable composition and didn’t pick up on the loss of details from reducing noise (my cameral just hates anything above iso200). This is a crop of the image at 100%. You can actually make out the beetle in it’s mouth a bit better.

Nice silhouette and dof, focus on the right bush is a slight distraction

glad to see you are pursuing birds for this weekly challenge.
They are hard to photograph and fun to try. Good luck!

You do get a bit of noise in the cropped version, but that version has a bit better feel to the composition. With this version, though, I could tell the bird had dinner - the title does help but you can see there's something in its mouth, too.

The cropped and reprocessed version works much better. that said, you've got a wonderful capture here and the story gives it context. I like!

Perhaps a bit of a crop would bring the bird closer to the viewer?

There's a story and a photo. Always good to me!
