Challenge: Nude II (Advanced Editing II)
Camera: Nikon D70
Location: My "studio" (a.k.a. the bathroom)
Date: Aug 21, 2004
Aperture: f/5.6
ISO: 200
Shutter: .01667
Galleries: Humorous, Still Life
Date Uploaded: Aug 21, 2004

I couldn't find a girl to get naked for me so I had to get out my woody and do it myself. I fully expect this to bomb but maybe the humor will save it from the very bottom. At any rate, it was a good chance to practice with my new SB800 off camera.

Adjusted contrast, desaturated, did some unsharp, did some noise reduction then I tried a little radial blur to try to add some life/action.

Cute and the rotating blur is interesting - from the original shot ? 6

I understand the attempt at humor, but this really doesn't fit the challenge.

lol...keep forgetting to see which dpc'er uses this Woody character or is it a conspiracy? -7- creative, definitely suggests nudity.

Just to cutesy and cartoonish. Definitely not my style. And why the swirling background? Only mid-section was in focus - to draw attention to the crossed hands? No, it just doesn't appeal to me at all. Sorry.

More Woody, less background, please! A great concept, but the folds behind the Woodster are distracting.

less than good focus and motion blur is distracting.

I really like this shot .. its a clever alternative to people. I also like the blurring effect you are using. The only thing I would change about this photo to make it perfect is the background .. I find that it is a little distracting (the curves in it) .. the light is also a bit too bright, but overall I really like this picture

heheh, well posed. I am sure your not expecting this to do well -but it does have it's qualities. i won't bother to say i think the exposure is a little to blown out. ;D

Great idea - excellent pose. The background is terribly distracting, as is the very shallow DoF and hash lighting.
