 These are my brother's new dogs. Dangerfield, the dal from last December's Free Study was put down at 17 about three months ago. Brubeck, after Dave, and Lili, after von Shtupp (the Madeline Kahn character in 'Blazing Saddles'), are rescue dogs. They are siblings and are a part American Bulldog and part Australian Sheep Dog. They will get near as big as the Dals but not quite from what I've told. They were 5 months old on Christmas Day, 2011 when the image was made. Sorry about the noise but I hope you still get a good idea of what they are about for now. More to come, I'm sure. Later and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Very cute dogs. I don't like the way you used the light though with the big shadow(s) over their faces and the eyes in shade.

cute animal portrait but the lighting could be better and my personal preference is for animals taken at their own level, anyway hope you do well with it
