Not sure about the blue. It doesn't fit anywhere.

I wish it were all BW so I could evaluate it without... distractions.

Unusual for a Wildlife tog to selective desat and leave and/or boost the eyes. Yet it's not a wildly OTT edit for Expert. Just a bit OOB. It's still a photograph of birds roosting unlike some others that are pushing the digital art boundaries and spirit of this challenge with composite photographs. An odd 8 from me.

The piercing blue eyes work but the thin blue border looks out of place.

I like the tones, not the blue.

Not sure I would have gone for selective colour and the thin coloured borders don't work for me, they kinda pull my eye towards them. Other than that, a lovely sharp image of a great subject, nice tones, made me smile as it looks like one of them is shouting at the other!

The blue eyes are very striking with the B&W....well done!

Nice texture and B&W. I am a bit uncertain about the selective desaturation/ hand colouring, even if it helps suggesting the mutual attraction. I wonder if a closer crop might have worked better, at least for me.

Very sweet. I don't think leaving the eye blue helps the image. Makes it a bit odd actually.
