Really nice capture. Composition is perfect. Love the fuzzy editing choice too.

Amazing shot, the voting here is ridiculous, this is AT LEAST a 7 [average, I'd give it a 10]

Cool shot JPR. I gave this a 7 and wanted it to do much better. But you went more for your own vision I think, which I just love!

It fits the challenge but the photo is rather grainy. I don't believe it was supposed to be that way.

Wow .. I really like the grainy effect here. This shot is stunning .. the way the colors are almost gone from everything else except the fisherman. Could you tell me please how you achieved the grainy look. 10/10

I could have given this photo 2 more points if everything in it were sharply focused. As it is, nothing is really in sharp focus. It is very grainy, which lends a certain charm to it and gives it a sort-of antique look. The sky looks blown out, but with many coastal weather patterns, the sky is often exactly that color. I am wondering if a polerizing filter might have helped?

Your composition here is very nice with both the fisherman and the boat - I like how they are "heading" into each other. I don't know whether you planned this as an artistic effect - but your photo has an antique feel to it - due to the graininess (noise) and colors so muted that it is almost black and white.

Not too sure about the concept, but I can see how you have used the fishing boat and the fisherman. Love the grain & colours.

Very nice composition, I like the grain, high key look and colors. A nice display of hope. (8)

Good luck...
