 Made a new texture from some old sheet music that I scanned. Rather than using the texture as an overlay, I used it as the base image and put the image of the church on top in multiply mode. It is saved as a png file so the edges are transparent.
Here's the texture; it is a big file so be warned...

Oh I will try this texture for sure! Other than that, I love the strong b&w, but most of all the white grass against the dark earth.

that's one of my favourite techniques, using the texture as the background image. This works really well.

what a breathtaking image colleen .. the clouds and the sky sucked me in .. so dramatic and exciting .. then that gorgeous soft grass .. wonderful processing .. this is fantastic .. :)
