Those petals are silky smooth with perfect DOF. This looks like a good image for the Shadow/Highlight filter in PS CS to bring out a little more shadow detail in the middle dark area. I know it may seem like a nitpick but there is some detail in there that I would like to see and it would help delineate the bees some more. Perfect framing. Good job.

| Nice composition which clearly met the challenge. Colors are good. Comp is fine. I think greater DOF would have improved it but that's probaby a matter of taste. |

| always difficult to get depth of field in these shots - I like the way the front and back unfocused areas even out |

| Love the picture. Just wish the bees were a little more in focus... same with some of the petals. |

| Interesting image, but I find that the yellow seems quite washed out. Could have underexposed this shot a little or could have been burned a bit to darken those petals. Nice focus on the central part of the flower with the bees. |
