I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Excellent title - it anchors the image and the back story. Great POV, inspired tones and plenty of mystery. It really does look dark over there! I'd really like to know what the surface you subject is standing on.
Critical stuff: The waxy smoothness is a little distracting.
Overall: Imaginative and effective. Nice job. |

| Simplistic and with meaning. I liked the use of DOF. I would've prefered for the image to be rotated slightly to the right as to create a straighter line in the 'floor' and maybe for the left food to be included a bit more. But I like the image. |
