I think the reason why this didn't do to well is because the main subject are the golfers.

I personally like this shot. Lets my eye wonder aroudn the photo. It would have been nice without the ship too. Beautiful colors and great focus.

Good tones in the sea, good (though ont terribly intersting) generic sporting image. Sure there's a horizon ... but in terms of composition? Don't get it, I fear. 3

Good photo, but no vanishing point!

This shows a horizone but it doesn't really show a vanishing point. I should be seeing parallel lines converging at some point in the distance. It's an interesting photo though.

Where are the converging parallel lines? This seems more like a negative space photo than one for vanishing point.

I'm sorry, I've looked and looked here... and while I like the photo, I can see no reason it was entered in "Vanishing point." I'm sorry if I've missed your point completely, hopefully others won't.
