An infrared shot of Mabry Mill on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. I think old wooden buildings are just made for IR shots. This mill was built around 1903-05, and was used as a sawmill and grist mill. There is also a general workshop that contains a belt-driven jigsaw, lathe, and planer.
processing was very simple. open RAW with an adjustment of white balance. A tiny rotation of 0.4 degrees, crop out blank space resulting from rotation. layer for levels and hue/sat then black/white. cloned out a few small distractions. large radius USM for contrast enhancement. adamus sharpening. save for web

Looks ike a lovely spot. IO, if you had backed up just a little to include more of the fence the composition would be better. Also looks a little oversharpened. The sepia tones are great. (voted earlier)
It almost looks like the weather here this week. The composition and content here are likely my favorites of all time. I love the mill and the stacked fences, and the vines up the side of the building. flat water with reflections always imparts a calm mood. This is very well photographed.
