 A few things to achieve this effect... First, I reverse mounted my 50mm OM (film) lens to allow close focusing (down to six inches). Actually, I didn't mount it at all; I just kind of held it in place. The rest is TtV (Through the Viewfinder). I bought a Holga TLR recently and got this shot by close focusing on the image in the waist level finder. Hence the soft edges and hard vignette. And voila -- my ugly house.

Thanks for posting your set-up info. I like the slight distortion of the trees.

I'm really sorry but I'm not sure I understand this. It seems to be very soft focus on a fairly uninspiring view with a seriously solid vignette.
