The walls really pull me into the picture right to the subject, like the squarish crop and centered child. Good processing for this taking away any distractions there might have been.

What a nice street shot.. Love the sepia tones, the different textures on the walls and the street, and the lone kid silhouette. Very good eye!
The only thing bothering me is the aspect ratio - it's not a square/portrait/landscape, and that's immediately noticeable and distracting a little somehow. Maybe if you crop off the top half and make it a landscape it might work better? I can't make up my mind, just something to think about. Good luck.
