I've used this location before for my "what DPC loves the most" entry. I thought it might work for what I was trying to do. I wasn't sure the illusion was going to work but after turning my camera on its side to view the effect I was pretty happy with the result. I tried many different poses and facial expressions this is the one I liked best. I'm just glad that this place was secluded because I'm sure I looked really odd laying on that rock.

Clever. Amazing how well it works when the background is obviously giving the lie to what I'm 'seeing'.

I love the mountains, without them the shot would be scary, not funny.

Rosie the riveter goes climbing :)

I very much like how you set this up and the perfect facial expression to go with the shot.

I love her expression, and I really like it that the whole outfit is sorta a climbing outfit (although the boots are more hiking boots I think). Good control of light also. What I don't like so much is the rotation. Yes, nothing in the challenge description said you couldn't rotate, but in this case it just doesn't make sense. It simply feels like a gratuitous rotation, to fit the image into the challenge. Sorry. ~5

Isn't this a horizontal picture of a horizontal subject that you just rotated? Not sure if that meets the challenge...

Ok, I'm cherry picking through the thumbs first. This is the first one I'm looking at. Nice job, on the thumb, I did think this was a rock climber, then I saw the lake. Nice job. My idea/interpretation of the challenge.
