I like this picture very much and keep looking at it. I appreciate a lot the use of color to take it more into a poster look or a CD cover. A very thorough job you did and I bum this up
I can't help but mark off points for the halo around central figure, and the selective saturation may have been an error here, especially with the heavy level of sat used.
You've probably heard this before, but this might have worked a little better if it was completely black and white. The costume and props and lighting all work well. I wonder if a unique camera angle or POV might improve this composition a bit also?
The brown in the Dob's fur and the blue eyes don't really work for me in this theme. Film Noir equals B&W, rather low-key and hard shadows to me. Face looks also a bit out of focus. The shadow on the other hand is nice.
