 After I did this I played around with another layer of dead branches and leaves. The 'face' was a bit of a surprise, so I tweaked the detail there just a little with the burn tool. That 'eye' was just like this except not quite as strong. The shape hasn't been changed at all.
I can tell she isn't all that happy - not sure if she's hiding from something nasty.

this is so cool! love how you almost have to search out the face, yet it's right there.
