A surprisingly striking image. Good saturation of colour, certainly fits the topic. Not a winner though I don't think?

Ah - a familar sight! As a pilot, my fist thought is that you are not on the centerline! Well composed, using the line-up lines adds a lot as does the perfectly level horizon. It cleary demonstrates the vanishing point.

Hope you wasn't STANDING on an active runway! Reminds me of my Air Force days. Really nice shot!

This same shot would also be cool with a fish eye lens. Nice contrasting colors and composition. Best of luck.

think it might have been more effective if taken more to the left closer to or in front of the 4

Good example, but I thought the overall was kind of boring.

Sharp and bright! Use of lines gives great impact. I like the way the mirage at the end of the runway disolves into the sky. Most of the thinner lines look jaggy on my monitor, however. Is this over-sharpening or just a remant of compression?

A plane landing at the distance would have turned this into a great shot
