 Sad but true, I feel, that I unknowingly contributed to the untimely demise.

The original was quite reddish. 3 overlays placed, one aqua, one burnt yellow and one a blueberry feathered border. I dabbed the eraser on each overlay to get the blotchy effect.

I know he's already dead, but he looks so vulnerable belly up like that. Poor thing is likely to die again. Love your textures and colours.

Brings to mind an environmental warning against pollutants which can be so beautiful ( as are the colors in your photo ) but deadly. You gave him a proper send off and made a plea for cleaning up toxic waste .. very well done.

Poor thing, but lucky to be immortalized by a photograph. The layers & the distance make it easier to look at, & it is kind of like we're taking flight w/that little soul.

Looks like my cats got at him, poor fellow :-) The various colors created by the overlay (I'm guessing) are quite lovely!
