Ingredients for Cream puff shells
1 cup water
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
4 eggs

Cream Puffs Instructions
Place butter and water in saucepan and bring to a quick boil. As soon as the mixture comes to a boil, remove pan to cool a little, add the sifted bread flour all at once and with a spoon stir or wire whip vigorously for 2 or 3 minutes until mixture leaves sides of pan. Continue to let it cool a little more and then add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition, until the dough is smooth and glossy. Drop mixture by tablespoons, 3 inches apart, on a greased cookie sheet. Bake in hot oven 425-F for 10 minutes, then at 375-F for about 25 minutes. Cream Puffs should be puffed high and light golden-brown. Remove baking pan from oven and place it somewhere to cool. Slice each one in half and spread thick with cooled filling, sandwich like.

Some like to fill with custard like an eclaire, but I like simple whipped cream, Just add a pinch of sugar and vanilla (or bourbon)to heavy cream and whip until stiff and pipe a heaping portion between the puff halves.

Congrats on the top 10, Brennan! I'll just have a giant plate of that cream, and scoop it up with the chocolate...

Aha! Ingredients are the same, way of working is the same but the small difference is that you let boil the water with butter. Following my recipe the water doesn't have to boil. So now I'm going to let it boil :)

And, not to forget: congrats with with the top 10 position :)

I love the lighting and shadows. There's various textures of the crumply bread in the pastry, light powder sugar, and creamy filling. I also love the eggs in the background, as you see the ingredients that made this desert come to be.

Nice background elements. I do feel like the cream puff is to close to the left edge and/or there's too much empty space at the top.

LOT'S OF FUN TO MAKE!!!!! I love to watch the dough/batter pull away from the sides of the pot when cooking it and especially like slicing open the fesh puffs and filling them ....yum...... 10.

Can't wait to see your recipe since they never succeed when I make them (I try to make the long ones, covered with a chocolate cover (ganache) and stuffed with confectioner's cream)

Yeah baby, love a good cream puff. I may have gone with a square crop on this and gotten rid of some of the upper background. Not sure if it really adds anything to the image. Probably would have tweaked the cream and made it a bit less yellow and more white. The image overall has a slight yellow cast on my monitor. Bumping up 1 as I was probably a bit harsh the first time through.
