I am calling it an experiment that turned out better than it looked in the camera. Trust Me. You may call it a flop. I expect it to be trounced....but remember, I did not open the light painting pandora's box...

Anyhoozle...I focused on the blue thistles, set the camera on manual focus and bulb setting and locked the cable release, covered the lens with a dark skull cap, turned off all the room lights, removed the thistles from the shooting area (having marked the shooting surface with some white electrical tape) got the small multicolored decorative lights out and flung them about on the right side of the frame for a second or so. Recovered the lens with the skull cap, put the thistles back in place, put the lighting on for the thistles and my hand and uncovered the lens for about 2 seconds and recovered and this is what I got....after processing. The unprocessed image is a bit ghastly but I was able to fix most of it in Camera Raw.
OK...Later.

This is an awesome synesthetic approach. I love how the excitation of color seems to indicate pain. I really feel this meets the challenge very well, mainly because of the fact that I don't need to read the title to understand what "sense" you are referring to.

Awww, you scribbled on the flowers! Yes, I see where you are going with this and it is nicely photographed. Hard to decipher but a fun attempt.

Too busy. I'd like it better without the colored lines at right that obscure the hand.

Great composition of cool colored back-lit flowers which emphasizes the raggety sharpness of the still flowers, the softened warm colored hand slowly approaching the flower, and neon sqiggly light giving rapid movement. Light, touch, sound!

I don't get all the coloured lights. Would have been a lovely photo without them.
