Greetings from the Critique Club:
This is a pretty effect. The 'flower' and its glow against the wall work really well and I like the overall coloration too. I do think this might work better with a much lower exposure - I note your aperture is set to f/3.5 and can't wondering how it would have looked at f/8 and 30 seconds.... I know'd you'd have lost the bottom of the vast then, but a brief sweep with the match lower down the image to finish off would probably have worked.
Overall, I like it very much as a concept but feel that the highlights from the top of the vase down would look better suppressed a little.
Nice though.

Maybe a bit bright, but LOVE how the stem comes out of the vase and the fact it looks like some kid drew a flower on the wall... and hey I guess an orange wall is bright anyway! |

clever. I like this a lot. I wonder if a dark blue background might improve it? |
