My words from the hummingbird shot I had entered before this dragonfly:

' . substr('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_portfolio/85000-89999/86447/120/Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_964021.jpg', strrpos('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_portfolio/85000-89999/86447/120/Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_964021.jpg', '/') + 1) . '

Yeah... sorry about the title. LOL!

I had a lake shot in before this... and then put the hummingbird up... and thought, "Hmmm... that kinda works."

Yeah... that's what I thought, "Hmmm... that kinda works."

:)

Anyway... I hope I don't regret taking down the lake shot and entering this young lady for FS.

I like her, even though she's a bit artsy.

She "posed" for a fraction of a millisecond (darnsies! These folks are QUICK!) in front of the white posterboard I taped to the leaves of a bush. I had two lights shining on the area from inside. Then, I sat... remote in hand... suddenly *click click click*!

Then I sat... and sat... and sat... then suddenly *click click click*

You get the idea.

And, whilst I was doing this work of great importance, my family had the audacity to want to be fed.

Guys these days...!! *sigh*

I'm predicting a during-voting validation request because of the white background, and a 5.7 ending vote.

So be it. I had fun sitting and clicking today. :)

Another fun thing... put your cursor arrow up to her head just behind her eye. Oh wait! It's already there! ISn't that cool? LOL!

So... now... third shot entered... and I'm keeping the same silly title for all three.

So sue me. I'm unimaginative. *grin*

But... happy. You should be too, 'cause... Life is good, even when it's not.

This dragonfly kept coming back to the same place to land... so I sat on a rock in the middle of water, fish nibbling at my legs and toes... (eek!) and waited. Handheld... in a breeze.

I'm kinda happy about the bokeh... and that I got him in focus in a slight breeze.

Life is good, even when it's not.

Really!

But, why are you still reading this this long?
