I wish to dedicate this picture and ribbon to the memory of Cole Brown. Ironically, this photo was taken about the same time that Cole was losing his life in a motorcycle accident only a few miles away.
Cole will be remembered by all that had the privilege of knowing him for his gentle and charming smile, his exuding kindness, his confident yet soft-spoken manners and so many other qualities. It was impossible not to like Cole for anybody that met him. He had recently become the proud and loving father of baby Magnolia.
Cole was also an exemplary patriot; he served his country as a Marine during two terms in Iraq. In an irony of destiny he left this world on the 4th of July, at the precise moment that fireworks celebrating the independence of our country boomed throughout the nation. It was an honor to know you, Cole; you will be missed.
