Lovely piece. NG have been known to do stories on art and culture. The white BG is not easy on the eyes. I think black is more traditional, or at least more used overall. The focus and lighting is excellent as it should be for a "still life" in "studio" work. Typical NG and printable.
That is a beautiful piece of art. Wonder what it would look like on a black background? Probably a bit more like a National Geographic photo. Lovely though.
