 Everyone else was looking at the seal being fed. I got one decent shot of it and then looked skyward at the gulls wheeling overhead.

I really wish I'd gotten the entire bird, but you're seeing most of what I got. I did rotate it a bit to improve the composition, and lost a little of the other wing.

Editing focused on bringing out the detail in the trailing edge feathers while not bringing out noise in the bird's body.

exquisite detail. I think I'd like seeing the whole bird, but the detail, light and color is intoxicating.

Another GREAT Photo!!!! If this isn't Wendy then you sure did a fine job looking like a Wendy photo, and that is a HIGH Complement in my book!

I love the light and the processing. My first impression of the crop was that I don't like it. I'll be curious to see how the voters feel about it (crop).
