So far doing better than my original entry.

I really wanted to reshoot Flying, but the hippos just wouldn't cooperate and the one time one went on a running under water spree, the water was so dirty you couldn't see her. The aquarium is usually mobbed, so I waited until the night of the challenge due to a members only event there that night. The place was practically deserted!

I always like the prehistoric stare of these animals. It really sends out a sense of fear.

Really great. This could work for the Nat'l Geo challenge too. If I would critique anything, it would be the angle of the shot. I understand that you might not have been able to get down as low as you'd like.

Already voted, back to comment. Cannot figure out the original pic, but I love this one!!! Great focus on the eyes and the color and tone are nice. This is wonderful indeed and one of my favs.
