put this off for way too long and had to rush this shot. found this spot. shot it at 11:17 p.m. in downtown, about a 20 minute drive from my house. sprinted a mile back to the car with two stands, umbrellas, flashes, camera, vodka bottle, water bottle, camera, and a backpack full of other equipment.
sped all the way back to the house going 90 mph, made it in 12 minutes. walked into the door at 11:52 p.m.
computer's dead. let it boot up. loaded, edited. got it up at 11:59 p.m. file exceeds size limit of 300 dpi craaaaaaaap
quickly changed it, 12:00 p.m. CRAP! press submit and...
"what day is it?" "monday" "..."
lesson(s) learned:don't put off big projects like this, make sure you know what day of the week it is, learn to run a mile in under 3 minutes.
anyway. two speed lights, right and left. long exposure for the background, quick flash or two for the front.
editing: crop, unsharp mask, burn, dodge, clone, vibrance, brightness contrast, warming filter, hue/saturation, save for web
thanks for actually reading this. prediction: 6 hopefully. i've been on a roll recently.

With that title, I would've prefered to see a city skyline or maybe something a bit more urban. Regardless, I like the picture and I think the water effect behind the bottle makes it look pretty cool.
I love the blues here. The water/ could pass as fire? Or visa verse? This image is filled with lots of tiny details; lights from the building, flag pole, all seen again in the reflection of the surface giving me a lot to digest. It all seems to compete with the bottle itself.
