This is my Free Study entry from 06/2010Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_893534.jpg
The original was an HDR image of 3 images combined in Photomatix. At the time 21.gif spiritualspatula had said the clouds were overdone and would like to have seen it at a different angle.
This time around it is taken as a single 30 second night exposure as a vertical, and lit by the up lights around the base. These are actually 3 huge brick towers in Red Square at the University of Washington, Seattle.

Great colors, light, shadows, lines... Very pleasing image.

I don't know if I'm looking at the correct original -- but if I am, I like the perspective of the original better, but the lighting and the processing of the take II much better. I had given this an 8, and if I'm looking at the right original, I gave that a 7.

Excellent perspective. Really love these fiery colors contrasting with the deep blue sky...

I really like this... so much to look at and wonder.

I may or may not be voting, so please do not equate my comment with any score.

Very cool use of gold and blue. I'm not really liking the tilt. This photo seems to scream that it needs symmetry.

Interesting. For some reason, I want to "straighten it out" by rotating the image slightly (2 degrees maybe) to the right.
