Thought of this at the last minute. Printed out an old road panorama that I had shot a while ago. As you can see, I couldn't really get the seams to blend physically. I was using coins to force scale until my girlfriend suggested using batteries.

Shot RAW with my 28-135 @ 41mm.

* RAW adjustments (mostly white balance)
* crop
* shadow/highlight
* hue/saturation
* levels
* USM, resize, USM

Here is an edited shot with no seams:

Here is a shot showing the setup:

Here is the original panorama used for the backdrop:

Great idea! Well thought out. I love this kind of thinking outside of the box. Congratulations!

Very nice idea and a damn cute truck! It's flawed but very nearly went the distance.

Congratulations on your 18th place finish. Had that crease been absent this may have taken a ribbon. nevertheless, you certainly outdid yourself. I was floored when I saw the little truck with those razor sharp batteries. Very good work.

Nice viewpoint. Wrong side of the road? Great idea, the scrtaches and beatup condition of the truck is ideal for the composition.

LOL, I really like this!!

I think seeing the obvious join in the paper etc adds to the shot. Looking at it from afar really makes the shot look real, but when you study it more you can see what it actually is! Well done, full marks!

Very creative and original. Don't know how you created the minature road - but it works great. The white line just to the right of the truck - going into the sky is unfortunate.

Clever idea. Quite effective too. The composition works well. It looks like you used two copies of the same picture for your background (one for the floor and one for the background). The point where they touch can be seen. This detracts a little from the impact of the image. Fun image though. Good luck.

Cool idea. What is this white line on the right side?
Looks like it´s holding some wire up.
Part from that... Really well done. Would like to know what you did to get it like that.

Really convincing . Nice work. This satisfies the challenge parameters more than any I've seen.

Not a bad shot but maybe if you cropped out some of the shoulder it would look better.

Is this on a picture? I guess it would have to be to make the truck look that big. Too bad this wasn't an advance challenge. Then you would have been able to blend lines where you can see that it is not a real backgroun. Great idea though. Good composition.

Voted earlier, returning for comments.

Very nice concept. Would have been much better without the obvious vertical line which appears as a crease line. Bumping from 5 to 6.

Doesn't look so tiny on the road but the batteries prove the point very well. 7.
