Ok, so I'm guessing that a miniature bottle of booze is unlikely to be original but once I had the idea I ended up spending two evenings trying to get the picture right (and no, it's still not right).

The trouble with a wine glass, containing a glass miniature, is all the damn reflections. If the light was enough to illuminate then it was enough to throw reflections all over. If this had been an advanced editing challenge it would have made life SO much easier!

Nice idea and well shot. A whiskey glass might have been better, though.

Nice sharp image. I like the sepia tone that you used in this photo. Nice work!

Meets the challenge but photo is too dark - has too much gray.

good thing you did a thorough cleaning since we can't spot edit. coulda bumped up the contrast a bit and maybe put it further from the background...and posssibly then you could have lit the background more creatively.

Technically, this is a very good photo. Focus, lighting, and detail are excellent. I'm not a fan of the color tone in the image, though. The subject is not visually stimulating, in my opinion.

cute idea and it's a nice shot, technically, too.

Like the simplicity of this image. Whilst the glass is for wine and the bottle contains whisky this doesn't really matter as it's more about the combination of two glass objects to show scale. The shadow on the lower right background is subtle and adds a touch of depth. The angle of the bottle in the glass provides a strong composition. I like the choice of sepia tone. I'd prefer slightly more diffused light to give softer edges to the hard white reflections on the bottle but wouldn't want to lose them altogether as I think the image does need a touch more lighter tones overall. 9
