 It was very hot. Sun was very bright. This is shot in the shade of my umbrella. None of my shots turned out. Yuck.

I don't know - maybe you should repunctuate that. "None of my shots turned out yuck." At least this one didn't. I like the composition and focus and the colours of the petals.
