I love this, shame more people didn't, but I bet you do and that's what matters! |

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: This is a bold and magnificent portrait. Bold pose, bold light, bold colour, bold processing, bold subject. Some will hate the rope but I love it.
Critical stuff: Some will hate the rope!
Overall: pushes the boundaries and challenges preconceptions. Great stuff. |

"Up the nose" shots don't score as well as if she'd lowered her head a bit. I do understand that working with a child is difficult... but... that's the challenge! :)
Love the clarity of the eyes, but not that rope going through her head.
Nice details that you've kept in the whites. (not voting) |

I wasn't sure about the rope -- though if you look at it long enough, it suggests a pigtail of fairy tale proportion. |

Like the unusual enquiring pose. |
