Thanks all for the honest comments! I knew I would have a hard time to score well in this challenge, but I wanted to give it a try anyway, that's the best way to improve.

This one was particularly though for me, as I refuse to shoot candid photos. Could seem a bit weird, but I personally wouldn't like to be on someone else's photo and posted to the Internet without my knowledge and approval, so I just don't do that neither.

Given that, I tried to find an interesting point of view, and this perspective amused me. My wife was kind enough to jump here several times, until the movement matched what I had in mind.

Congrats to the winners!

Clearly posed, but closer to HCB than anything I've seen so far.

One of the better ones, possible ribbon here.

Seems like a posed shot, but fun nevertheless!

An homage to the gent leaping the puddle, perhaps? I do worry that she'll break an ankle on landing, given the height of those heels! Has a very "set up" feel to it which strikes me as not exactly HCB-ish.

I like the setting and composition. It doesn't really look like a candid shot to me though.

I think this really captures the essence of the challenge - excellent geometry, the moment is right and i like how the woman's underexposed a bit. Great photo

no, I am afraid posed shots are nor what the challenge called for

While this is a good shot, and HCB had many shots of people leaping or jumping, he was capturing the 'real world'. This shot looks very staged to me, and not at all candid.
