Thank you so very much for this advice. I am a total beginner with all this equipment but love using it. I used a Nikkor 200mm f4D ED-IF AF lens which I have only had a short while. I have been so frustrated with the focus, I will try the manual option. Thanks again!

Would have been stunning if it weren't for the lost focus on the eye and cropped feelers/antennae.

Not wild about the cut off antennae and the tip of the wing... but am loving the sharpness and detail in the wings. (not voting)
