Reverse lens macro image of some teensy forget-me-knot flowers. I took a photo for this challenge that I really liked, of an alien-like London Pride flower, then read the brief again and realised it wasn't valid as I'd brought the flower into the kitchen so it didn't blow in the wind. This one was taken in its natural setting, although not as freaky an image!

Thanks for the comments. I agree with the vote and wasn\'t happy with my entry - I seem to struggle with taking photos to a theme with little notice but I\'m working on it! As for the clarity and focus - the photo was taken with reverse-lens macro so the depth of field is about 1mm! With some subjects it works or you can get away with it (I'm not allowed to post a link to examples but my blog on blogger is amoodaday and click the 'reverse lens' field), with others it doesn't.

Whoohooo, I just realised why this flower is called what it is in Swedish. It's Förgätmigej, which with a couple of spaces in between is Förgät mig ej -> Forgot me not. Haha, I've never thought of that.

So, nice picture, the right one looks like porcelain to me. Would like to see a bit more space on top of it though, really tight there. 6

to me the focus on this is very, very soft

i think the wilted edge detracts a little

The overall composition of this is wrong and the half dead flower doesn't help, sorry

Lacks sharpness and clarity.
