This actually wasn't my original idea for the entry. I removed the real bird from the cage to put the miniature bird in and the real bird decided he wanted to be a part of the whole thing. I thought it was funny and more interesting than my first idea.

I agree about the light. It was a lucky shot. My macaw doesn't stay still for long. I tried to duplicate the shot in different lighting but couldn't. I still felt it was worth entering because of the humor factor. I feel pretty good about how it scored. I think most everyone appreciated the humor in it.

Might've been nice to backlight it against a window and create sillouettes?

Composition is alright, although I'd rather it was slightly further away from the birds myself.

Good attempt.

Your real bird is way too bright and I just don't like what is implied. Squimish I guess.

try to light it without using the flash, or turn the flash way down (if you can)

cool shot but seems a bit overexposed on the big bird head. softer colors would perhaps improve the image a bit.

Nice shot, better if we can see the parrots' eye though.

Flash overpowers an otherwise nice image. Cute idea.

I think it would have looked better with less light on the face, or maybe another lighting setup.
