 LOL. Have never sweated out a choice like deciding which pic to submit for this challenge. Had two great pics, and they were so close I wanted to scream. Opinions from friends seemed split as well. . .But, I really liked this one. So here goes nothing. The Model is a pro barrel rider, and a friend. One of the last true western cowgirls.

No, I didn't. I tend not to convert from RAW. . .I probably blew a some of those areas myself during processing with over use of dodge. I really appreciate the kind words, been trying to learn my camera and the software simultaneously. It was really cool watching this one spar with my top two entries until voting finished. LOL.

Very nice image Mike. The composition is great, love the play of the striped shadows. Also congrats for being your second highest score. I do think that some of the highlights are a tad blown out though. Did you use the recovery slider in camera raw?

There is SO much going on in this image. I really want to love it because it's got some killer shadows, interesting textures, and the woman's stance is very intriguing. But I'm a bit on overwhelm here. Maybe a less busy shirt would have helped.
