 I had to sneak up on this guy - low crawled through the poppies, really. I got some closer shots, but this is the one that turned out the best. This is a local favorite photo shooting place in the Spring and you will see more pictures posted as the season progresses.

I cropped, lightened the shadows, adjusted the mid-tone contrast, leaned it to the red hue, then cooled it off a touch. I added the anti-noise and anti-dust fixer filters, resized it and saved it for the web. This is probably good for the low 5s, though - we'll see.

I like how the composition of this makes your eyes start at the head, and natural move down through the rest of the scene.

One thing I noticed right away, however, is some fairly significant chromatic aberration (see the bright purple on top of the lizard and the right side of the rock?). That is something that can quickly and easily be corrected in post processing, and often gives your image a sharper feel to it.
