shot with flash outside of the chip bag at the end with my hand, flash on 1/4 power and light was feathered.

Thank you very much for the Critique and positive comment! I agree with the deeper DOF, I had noticed that after I had posted the emphasis on the "Crisps" was a little left out. Thank you again!

Greetings from the Critique Club

Let me congratulate you first on getting in the top ten with this image well done.

Difficult to critique this from my perspective as I found this challenge topic to be very unappealing. However, just because I didn't like the topic, doesn't mean I can't find something to comment.

You obviously spent some time thinking about this and setting it up. It's a clever idea and clearly worked with the voters. I may have preferred a slightly deeper depth of field so that more of the crisps (I'm British, these are crisps, not chips!) are sharper. I can only imagine that given the set up, this would be quite difficult to achieve.

Overall, I'd say this was pretty well done and resonated with the voters.

thanks everyone that voted! I had a lot of fun with this challenge and all your comments were much appreciated. I have yet to place in the top 3 but look forward to working even harder to get there in the future.

Great idea! Perhaps my favorite concept of the challenge. I think the focal point is supposed to the chips in fingers, but somehow the lighting and focus don't take me there, I feel like I had to figure it out.
