Wonderful composure here. I think the shot would have benefitted if you were about 20 feet taller :-) But still great. I think it's the best of the landscapes in black and white here. The rest have made me want to see them in colour, but this doesn't need it for me.

Fantastic scene. Feels outrageously cold thanks to that windy/cloudy background despite the nice sunlight. nice lead into the photo, and silvery. It shimmers. There's a bit of graininess in the clouds, but only noticeable because I've been staring at this so long. Wonderful photo.

Excellent light, dynamic composition that works very well; really nice conversion, too. Classic example of good use of B&W in landscapes.
