 Thanks pointandshoot. Oh...but I'm all about the minutia ;)

I wasn't trying to be covert with my message...I was trying to get people to ponder the concept of what religion means to them and the impact it has on their awareness of their fellow humans...though they may not be the same, they feel very connected to me. As, Melethia pointed out, kids and animals seem to have more of it...especially the kid in the stroller ;) Perhaps it just goes away as we get older, or with the greater impact organized religion has in our lives ;) People spend so much energy trying to act as they think others want them to act, instead of thinking and acting for themselves. I find myself occasionally stepping outside the bounds of the dpc framework to tap into this, and when I do, I just find it fascinating how little most photographers here seem to know, or care to know about the world around them. I used to appreciate photography as a distraction, that just doesn't seem to be enough for me anymore.

ha - I never thought to include the dog - so silly. And I am a pet lover too. Great open mind. Love your notes. Awesome connection with the baby too. That makes it for me. :)

I was wondering how anal the voters would be with this (even though there are 13 faces) Maybe the truer religion means to take a great photo and not worry so much about the minutia.

Your photos always look like a well choreographed scene from a sitcom. I'm amazed.

It's a good street shot. Lots to look at. I can only see 12 people. If you are trying to convey this as 13 'living beings' then I guess it meets the challenge. A bit of a stretch though. 5

This is kind of like ... where is Waldo? How many people are there here? I'm counting 14 with the 2 in the window and including the baby. Is it suppose to be 13 people standing? Whats up with the guy petting his dog? Thats a good laugh to say the least but an interesting photo all around.

Very muur88 - I do so hope it is and you're back! If it is not, HUGE compliment. This is marvelous. Ever notice how its always the kids and animals who see you? Baby in the buggy has caught you, as as the young one in the red coat. My favorite of the challenge and I haven't even started voting yet. :-)
