My model Gréta dressed up in toilet paper for me for this challenge. My other option was to submit a picture of my cellphone.

I used a 500w light for the hardware store for light, slave flash to light the background and on camera flash to trigger the slave flash. The background is a table cloth.

absolutely great shot. I love the way the lighting creates a dark mood. The model really has a great attittude as well.

cool--paper fashion is fun. :) i remember when björk wore a paper dress to the grammys (or maybe oscars, can't remember if 'dancer in the dark' ever got nominated). at anyrate, i like this shot. i agree with pedro about the contrasts...but still a clever idea and a great model.

:-) Good idea!! Nice shot, I quite like the lighting used here, plus the noise/grainy texture to it all is good. 9

Superb idea and very nice B&W. Your model is gorgeous. She does need a bit more light on her face.

Not very interesting. It's a brilliant concept but the image fails to represent the idea.

Now this fits the category! Although I'm not real happy with the light on the subject versus the brightness of the background. But I'm giving it high marks for concept!!!

That is an interesting use of an everyday object. The models eyes look great and the skin tones are good. For some reason the toilet paper doesn't "pop" like I think it should, but I'm not sure why. Still and good shot and I'll give it a good score.

Good idea. I just think the model needs some more light, it lacks contrast.

Anyway, a good shot

Better nice use. I always knew it had another use.

I like this idea. The model you have chosen fits the part very well too, the eyes come over fantastically. I think you could have achieved more impact by making it a little more exciting, rather than just a normal pose like you have here. Maybe something like her crawling along the floor towards the camera with a trail of toilet paper leading of from behind her. A couple of ideas spring to mind. It is a good image, just lacks on some "wow" that's all. Still worth and 8 from me though :)
