Taken on my Kitchen stove with a blown out egg on a thread. I raised the egg from the pan during the 2 second exposure. There was another egg frying in the pan. I ate a bunch of fried eggs tonight! :-(

A really good attempt and a clever technique that is pretty effective here.

The composition is well thought out and I like that the heat is on too.

What really kills this shot is the lighting - and it is hard to get better with a long exposure shot like this.

One thought would maybe to try a longer exposure and 'stutter' the egg movement, so that you record it at various points. Here you have started with it 'not moving' and it has recorded clearly in the 'just above the pan' area.

This is a great shot. There are a few things that would make it better. I think the focus is a little out. That is understandable as I think I am Familiar with the method you used to set this up. The light might be a little harsh. From the reflection you have on the bottle of oil I can assume you used the on Cam flash. I would personally put a sock over it and close the Apperture just a little more. Just off to the left of the pan there is a yellow color. Is this Egg Yolk or reflcetion of something. Can not figure it out. Anyway you have a great shot here.

interesting photograph. the apparent motion makes it look like the egg flipper may have been angry and was slamming the egg down into the pan. the oil bottles help set the scene. the bluish purple under the pan looks surreal. nice shot.
